Summer is the season of heat, so why not keep your makeup hot, too?
Gone are the days of frost-bitten, cool-hued makeup (save it for winter!). It’s time to work those warm tones, all the way from your eyes to your lips.
And the great thing about summer shades? They’re super easy to pull off!
Keep your eye makeup subtle. We suggest using a peachy shadow on the creases of your lids. For added oomph, use a campaign highlighter to add interest to the corners of your eyes. A great, volumizing mascara serves as the final ingredient for an overall eye-popping look.
Matchy-matchy never looked better. Use a warm, liquid lipstick like coral or nude brown to perfectly complement your eye makeup.
Bronzing is the new contouring. Stick to a terracotta-colored bronzer and use it to sculpt your cheeks in all the right places. Warning: don’t go overboard. This look works best when it’s minimal and understated.
Stick with the same color all around your face. A uniform color looks great on the skin, and far less obvious than you think. Use highlighter to break up the warmth all over your face.
